One of the most striking features of The Ivens Hotel is its perfect integration with the Rocco restaurant. Our suite was truly spectacular, and we were greeted with a special treat: a delicious red velvet cake and a bottle of prosecco, accompanied by a personalized message, demonstrating the hotel's care and attention to its guests. It is a beautifully decorated & well functioning hotel. The Staff was extraordinarily friendly, helpful & efficient. The restaurants Rocco, Crudo Bar & Gastro Bar, all in connection with each other, were absolutely nice, again beautifully designed, efficiently staffed, & with exciting & even delicious menues & very skilled sommeliers. If you want to go for the Italian part of the menu then be aware that it would more precise to name it the American-Italian menu.

Fabulous hotel, beautiful décor and luxurious, comfortable rooms, with great attention to detail giving guests the very best experience. Excellent facilities, knowledgeable and friendly staff and an ideal location. Quite simply… superb!

This was a SUPERB stay. The location is super central to all the main shops, the hotel is very well decorated, and the rooms are very cozy. The rooms are silent and the blinds completely black out. The bed and sheets are very comfortable and we slept very well. The breakfast is VERY high quality. It's all made in an open kitchen and you can see the chefs cooking your meal. They had an amazing bread and seasonal pressed juices, the toasts and omelettes are "a must". The staff was super kind. PS: They have the BEST toilet in Lisbon. Ask where is the toilet either in the lobby or the restaurant, you won't be disappointed.

I have stayed in many great hotels but this is definitely one of my favourites! With all the comfort and luxury of an international hotel, it has its own unique character and charm and is the ideal place to set off and explore Lisbon. The location is unbeatable right in the centre of old Lisbon with wonderful restaurants, sights and shops right outside the door. The rooms are beautifully decorated and make you feel at home as do the staff who are very attentive. Breakfast is a feast and I loved the homemade tomato jam! If I had to sum up my experience it would be that every detail in this hotel – interior design, food, staff and even its wonderful perfume – create an ambiance of beauty, elegance and timelessness that is simply wonderful!
